Allison's work has appeared in publications including Best Australian PoemsAustralian Love StoriesThe Big Issue Fiction Edition, Aesthetica and Going Down Swinging

A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), Allison has written within the arts, curating for publications such as Culturehall (U.S) and contributing to Kill Your Darlings, Literary MindedIndie London, The Enthusiast and working as a music columnist for ArtsHub

Her work has placed within the Eyre Short Fiction Award, the Carmel Bird Short Fiction Award, The Alan Marshall Short Fiction Award twice within the Martha Richardson Poetry Prize and the Aesthetica UK Annual Creative Writing Competition.

Allison is currently working on a novel-length manuscript under an Australian Society of Authors awarded mentorship. She is also the recipient of a Glenfern Fellowship for her manuscript in progress.

Allison lives in Melbourne, on Wurundjeri land.
